Försvarshälsan is the Armed Forces' internal occupational health service and is present at all garrison locations in the country. Försvarshälsan is responsible for health and medical care corresponding to primary care level for conscripts and cadets, as well as providing occupational health services for employed personnel within the Armed Forces. The Försvarshälsan team in Enköping consists of, in addition to health educators, district nurses, company nurses, physiotherapists/ergonomists, medical secretaries, occupational health engineers, company doctors, psychologists, and managers.

Main Responsibilities

As a health educator, you will have the main responsibility for the strategic health work at the organizational, group, and individual levels. The tasks include:

• Working proactively within the health area and being involved in developing and evaluating the organization's health work.
• Analyzing and evaluating lifestyle factors' impact on individuals and groups from a work-related health perspective.
• Identifying health-promoting factors and formulating health goals, as well as participating in current situation descriptions and assisting in the systematic adaptation of employees' life situations.
• Participating in rehabilitation work in consultation with other staff.
• Supporting individuals, groups, and organizations in lifestyle issues such as physical training, stress management, sleep, nutrition, etc., related to work-related health.
• Participating in educational and advisory efforts.
• Conducting coaching conversations.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• 3-year university degree in health sciences/health education.
• Work experience as a health educator.
• Driver's license (B).

We are looking for someone who has self-motivation, is customer-oriented, and enjoys working together in teams with other professional categories. You are flexible, have good pedagogical skills, and find it easy to collaborate. The work requires a good ability to independently plan, execute, and evaluate the results of completed work and assignments within the organization.

Employment type: Permanent employment. The Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

Employment rate: Full-time.

Work location: The position is primarily located in Enköping, but work at other locations may occur.
